Tahitian Tiger
This tiger shark, off the coast of Tahiti, was about 12 feet long, although they can grow to over 16 feet. The tiger shark is a solitary, mostly nocturnal hunter and has the widest food spectrum of all sharks. Although beautiful, there is no question this shark is an apex predator. I had never been in the presence of such power before and I will never forget that feeling.
