At the Edge Of the World

from $3,500.00

Just outside the tiny, remote village of Gásadalur on Vágar Island, Múlafossur Waterfall plunges nearly 200 feet (60m) from the grass covered sea cliffs into the violent North Atlantic Ocean below. Both Gásadalur and Múlafossur are dwarfed by the mighty Heinanøva that rises over 2000 feet (612m) behind the small village. Next to Heinanøva and shrouded in clouds, Árnafjall is the highest mountain on Vágar at over 2300 feet (722m).

At the Edge Of the World has been awarded a Platinum Medal in the Fine Art Seascape category and a Platinum Medal in the Fine Art Landscape category in the 2022 London Photography Awards; a Gold Medal in the Fine Art Seascape category and a Gold Medal in the Fine Art Landscape category in the 2022 European Photography Awards; and a Silver Medal in the Nature - Seascape category, a Silver Medal in the Fine Art Landscape category and a Silver Medal in the Nature - Landscape category in the 2022 New York Photography Awards
