Face To Face
Face to face with a magnificent 50 foot (15m), 40 ton (36,000kg) gray whale in Laguna Ojo de Libra near Guerro Negro, Baja California, Mexico. The gray whale gets its name from its blotchy color pattern. Some of this pattern is present at birth but most is caused by barnacles growing on the skin or by depigmented areas where barnacles have been scraped off.
